    "Feeling like I’m becoming a cripple hasn’t been without reward. I never had any particular affection for cripples before. The malformed, hobbling, clearly the “mysterious” man in the sky was short on time when putting finish on them, and yet, now I who was finished too much, touched by design for a moment too long, I struggle to keep stride and it - it irritates me because as time passes, and, the memory of what better or worse even means, is elusive, but wherever it is not the pain has gone from sharp and cut to a feeling that it’s not the bones that feel as if they’re somehow rubbing against flesh, it’s a feeing of some centered pain, and, of course the desire to hide it, alas I have not been stretching as much as I ought to have been, but, you know - why was it a gift… ",
    "It was not so long ago, when I didn’t have dogs that are likely at least one of them, older than not, and, before some few months ago, I had no idea what body pain could be, especially consistently, and hadn’t been to a doctor in 13 years, I believe. I wasn’t someone who could be a surgical candies, I wasn’t so alone, I wasn’t not just alone, but, also having forgotten how to be amongst others, an what’s worse, happier for it. ",
    "I fell in love with walking, during the year that my grip on reality became loose, that being last year (despite appearances! Yes, we know, this isn’t a great year either..) point being: I fell in love with walking, I never liked walking, ever. I became friends with myself, and, I’m not talking like, “well naturally I like myself.” No, I’m talking like best friends with myself, best friends with the man I am becoming, a devotion to protect him. A belief that would defy conventional thinking, that I would sacrifice the man I am, to protect the man I am becoming - from what the world is, or would be, to him. ",

When he starts to fall, I mirror my reflection back onto him, to force him up.
