Plasma GHK levels are approximately 200 ng/mL at age 20 and decline to 80 ng/mL by age 60 (mechanistic; human plasma measurement data).

This represents a roughly 60% reduction in circulating GHK (preclinical correlation with age).

## Mechanisms of Collagen Scaffolding

GHK-Cu increases synthesis of collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans in fibroblast cultures (mechanistic; in vitro data).

It activates remodeling processes including chemoattraction of repair cells, increases in metalloproteinases and anti-proteases, and support for fibroblast proliferation (mechanistic).

In cell models, GHK-Cu combined with hyaluronic acid elevates collagen IV production up to 25.4-fold (preclinical; fibroblast and ex-vivo skin tests).
