The Logic

  1. If optimal transport applies, branching follows.
  2. If optimal packing applies, spirals follow.
  3. If restoring force and inertia hold, waves follow.
  4. If rules hold uniformly, symmetry follows.
  5. If optimal transport applies, networks follow.
  6. If slow drive, fast dissipation, and interactions apply, bounded chaos follows.
  7. If stable states couple to history, memory follows.
  8. If processes lack fixed scale, scale invariance follows.
  9. If 1-8 hold, patterns do not need a designer.

  13. If anything is, existence follows.
  14. If 10-13 hold, these four lack necessity.
  15. If the designer question is metaphysical, it is load-optional.
  16. If reality is compressible, generative, and self-referential, properties need no designer and allow any.

The Falsifier

The claim fails if:

  1. Any pattern requires a designer.
  2. Necessity holds for residual features.
  3. The metaphysical claim affects physical predictions.

The Uncertainty
