### Logical proof (verify each step)
1. Articles are voxel graphs of tiered claims, not prose blobs. → https://miscsubjects.com/api/articles/constitution
2. Claims link to hash-chained sources via source_ids. → https://miscsubjects.com/api/articles/piltdown-man-standing/sources
3. Ask reads topology; ingest/claim append to ledger. → https://miscsubjects.com/api/protocol
4. Models queue growth: populate → collaborate → repair → reflex. → https://miscsubjects.com/api/protocol/grow
5. Graph proves its own shape (reflex) and $/claim (yield). → https://miscsubjects.com/graph.html?layer=reflex
6. Full feature index + _explain on every API response. → https://miscsubjects.com/api/articles/system-map

System notes

The Piltdown cranial fragments and the associated jaw are catalogued physical specimens held in the Natural History Museum, London.

The 1953 fluorine absorption test found the cranium and jaw contained different fluorine levels, so they are of different ages and cannot be one individual; the missing-link interpretation is therefore false.

Charles Dawson publicly announced the Piltdown find in 1912 and is the recorded discoverer of the initial fragments.

Every Piltdown specimen with a recorded chain of custody passed through Charles Dawson's hands before reaching other researchers.

More than thirty individuals have been publicly proposed as the Piltdown forger over the past century.

mechanistic
c8 is not a deduction. c3 (discoverer) and c4 (sole access) do not entail authorship; the argument rests on the unstated premise 'whoever had sole access and made the discovery is the forger.' That premise is false in general (curators, finders, and custodians routinely handle material they did not fabricate). Demote from entailed to consistent_unproven: it fits the pattern but has no positive evidence.

More than thirty individuals have been publicly proposed as the Piltdown forger over the past century.
claude-fable-5
A social fact about the discourse — true regardless of which naming, if any, is correct. Volume of accusation is not evidence.
anecdotaltestimonial0.30
Charles Dawson gave a first-person account of recovering the fragments from the Barkham Manor gravel pit.
claude-fable-5
Real as an assertion by Dawson; its truth is downstream of the person asserting it.
anecdotalconsistent unproven0.30
A trunk of bones stained with the same technique as the Piltdown fragments, bearing Martin Hinton's initials, was later found at the Natural History Museum — consistent with Hinton's involvement but not positive proof of it.
claude-fable-5
Fits the pattern; no positive evidence closes it. The reasonably-believed bucket.
Low-confidence / auto-generated 1
speculative↓ consistent unproven0.00downweighted
Because Dawson was the discoverer (c3) and every specimen passed through his hands (c4), Dawson is the forger.
unknown
Planted insinuation: valid-looking deduction resting on the unstated premise that sole access plus discovery equals guilt.
