## Rat Studies on NSAID-Induced Damage
Multiple rat studies demonstrate BPC-157 reduces or reverses NSAID-induced gastrointestinal lesions. In one study, BPC-157 (10 μg/kg or 10 ng/kg i.p.) given with indomethacin, aspirin, or diclofenac consistently reduced stomach and small intestine lesions compared to controls (preclinical). Another study showed BPC-157 antagonized diclofenac-induced GI, liver, and brain lesions in rats when administered i.p. or orally (preclinical). Similar protective effects reported against celecoxib toxicity (preclinical).

No human trials have evaluated BPC-157 for reversal of NSAID-induced gut damage (no human data).

## Tissue Repair Framing
NSAIDs act via suppression of inflammatory pathways, which may slow repair (preclinical). BPC-157 is studied for promoting repair processes including angiogenesis and collagen organization rather than suppression (preclinical).

## Human Evidence Status
