A capable actor can install structural invariants.\n2. A structural invariant that benefits all actors also benefits the capable actor.\n3. If the capable actor installs the invariant, then systemic health improves.\n4. If systemic health improves, then the capable actor's own function and advancement improve.\n5. Therefore, good neighboring is self-interested correctly understood.\n6. Logic-based frameworks do not require altruism. They require only correct calculation.\n7. Therefore, logic-based frameworks are more durable than altruism-based frameworks.\n\n## The Evidence\nA neighborhood association installs a flood drainage system after one house floods. The system prevents future floods for all houses. The initiator benefits directly (their house is protected) and indirectly (property values rise). The act was self-interested and produced structural remedy for all.\n\n## The Falsifier\n- Find evidence that altruistic frameworks consistently outperform logic-based frameworks in adoption and durability.\n- Find cases where self-interested invariant installation produced harm to the actor.\n\n## The Uncertainty\n- The claim assumes the actor can correctly identify the invariant. Wrong invariants waste resources.\n- The claim assumes the actor has sufficient capability to install the invariant. Some invariants require collective action.","ranking":"safety-first (interaction_risk/limitations), then quote-gated effective_weight","claims":[],"sources":[],"anecdotal_sources":[],"scientific_sources":[],"user_reports":[],"related_articles":[],"question_graph":{"slug":"unified-philosophy-good-neighboring","questions":[],"evidence":[],"edges":[],"counts":{"questions":0,"evidence":0,"edges":0}},"honesty":{"active_claims":0,"retracted_claims":0,"cut_claims":0,"challenges":0,"scrub_events":0,"note":"Retracted/cut claims stay on ledger but are excluded from ask unless ?include_inactive=1"},"counts":{"claims":0,"claims_total":0,"sources":0,"anecdotal":0,"scientific":0,"user_reports":0,"questions":0,"evidence_ingests":0}}
