They also host exhibitions and special events, publish the journal Washington History, and co-sponsor the annual DC Historical Studies Conference. Longwood University Briery Creek Press is affiliated with Longwood University in Farmville, VA. They publish books through the annual Liam Rector First Book Competition, and collaborate with the Longwood Theater on the annual Zero to Sixty Festival of Ten-Minute Plays.
