North Bay East Bay SF-Peninsula Silicon Valley Santa Cruz & Monterey Bay View Regional Plan Featured Project Bay Area Credit for Prior Learning Collaborative Many Bay Area students – including veterans, working adults, and apprentices – have already acquired valuable skills outside the traditional classroom. This project will build a regional community of practice among twenty partner colleges to advance the adoption and integration of Credit for Prior Learning (CPL), enabling students to earn college credit for military training, on-the-job experience, industry credentials, and non-credit coursework. The collaborative will develop shared resources, professional development, and a central CPL toolkit accessible to Bay Area colleges and community colleges statewide.
