The fee for individual therapy is $240 for a 50-minute session. For couples therapy, the fee is $300 for a 70-minute session. I do not take insurance, but I can provide you with an invoice to submit to your insurance provider. Depending on your plan, my fee may be eligible for your out-of-network benefits. What happens in couples therapy? Couples therapy is designed to provide you and your partner with a safe and supportive environment in which you can have difficult conversations. There are things you both want to say to each other. But each time you try, it turns into an argument or just goes nowhere. In therapy, we can work together to make those hard conversations loving and productive. How should I choose a therapist? Choosing a therapist can often feel overwhelming. The most important thing to remember is to trust your intuition. Go with someone who feels like the right fit. And remember, you can always change your therapist. You’re not locked into a contract. If after a few sessions, you think you’ve made the wrong choice, you can leave, and find a therapist that’s a better fit. What kinds of therapy do you offer? I work with individuals and with couples.
