’ve trusted Steve with my cars for many years, and that trust has always been well placed. He is fair, professional, and genuinely looks out for his customers. I never feel upsold—only well cared for. I highly and sincerely recommend Steve’s Auto Care.

As always, exemplary service I've been going to Steve since 2010, and each visit is smooth and pleasant. From scheduling, to dropping my car off after hours, to getting a text notification that my car is ready, to checkout, it couldn't be easier. Steve has been my family's trusted mechanic for over 15 years, through 4 Japanese cars. His integrity shines. He's always been straightforward, kind, helpful, and personable. I trust him completely, and know my car is receiving the best possible service, by someone who knows more about Japanese cars than literally anyone around. I couldn't be happier. We're in the market for a new car, and it'll definitely be a Japanese car, just so we can stick with Steve.

My partner was experiencing a strange noise coming from her wheel while she was driving home with our newborn baby. She pulled off the highway, and I came to pick her up or see if I could figure out what's going on with the car. We couldn't figure it out, but I googled around to see if there was an auto shop nearby, and just our luck, Steve's Auto Care was less than a block away from where she'd parked. We brought the car over. They were just about to close up the shop, but they were able to come out and have a listen. They quickly identified that her lug nuts had come loose. They tightened them up and sent us on our way. The guys were super kind and knowledgeable. It felt like they really came to our rescue when we had a faulty vehicle and a baby on board. Can't send enough thanks their way, and would highly recommend them based on our, albeit short, experience with them.

I had a great experience at Steve’s Auto Care in Novato. I dropped off my car at 7:00 am and it was ready by noon. The service was very fast and efficient. Steve explained everything clearly about the brake repair and what I should keep an eye on in the future. I really appreciated the honesty and the time he took to explain things. The service felt trustworthy, professional, and quick. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for reliable auto repair.

Fast, reliable, honest, trustworthy and very reasonable. The only place I would consider to service and repair my Japanese cars. A rarity among auto shops.
