Small neighborhood theatre. Saw Noises off as our first show. Hilarious!! Highly recommend. Reasonably priced, so could bring the kids. They loved it! Will go again in a heartbeat

From the outside it looks like just another store in a strip mall. I expected the smallest theater I'd ever seen. But no! A full, wonderful theater inside, and the people who run it seem wonderful! We saw Jagged Little Pill and really enjoyed it. I'm glad they changed the ending back to the original, happier ending because it needed it. Without a happy ending the show would have just been sad and depressing from beginning to end and I wouldn't have enjoyed it at all. I'm glad we saw a later show.

Fun local theatre. Seats about 100 people. It's great to have something like this available to us again.

Racism in Marin County: A Troubling Incident at the Novato Theater Company Racism in Marin County can be shocking in both its openness and its acceptance. A recent incident involving the Novato Theater Company is a painful example of this reality. A few months ago, two teenagers associated with the Novato Theater Company directed racist remarks at a Hispanic man simply because he politely asked them a question about parking. There was no provocation — only a courteous inquiry met with bigotry. When the man brought this incident to the attention of the company's two owners, he was met with an even more disturbing response. Rather than acknowledging the harm caused or holding the teenagers accountable, the owners defended their behavior, citing the fact that the teenagers were Caucasian as justification for their language. This response sends a deeply troubling message: that the Novato Theater Company's leadership condones racist behavior toward the Hispanic community, particularly when it comes from white teenagers under their supervision. This is not just an isolated incident — it reflects a broader culture of racial bias that must be openly acknowledged and addressed.
