Every time I'm in town I make sure to hit China Palace at least once, but if I'm being honest I would go there as many times as my family will let me! The Mongolian beef is an abundant portion and some of the best I've had. Super tender, tons of flavor. If you want to feel like you've had your veggies, pair the Mongolian beef with mu shu vegetables. They're super fresh, a nice little crunch and also an abundant portion (that will last you a couple days for lunch after!). This is my favorite combo, but honestly I've never had anything I didn't thoroughly enjoy here!

The food was difficult to enjoy due to its poor flavor and tough texture. The customer service was also disappointing. While the restaurant has a charming atmosphere, it’s ultimately not worth the time or money.

Wow, I've found my new favorite Northbay Chinese restaurant! Sat down for a to go order, and ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup while waiting, which was delish. I was pleasantly impressed with the comfortable and plush seating at booths and tables I headed home with Black Pepper Beef, Salt and Pepper Pork Chop, and General's Chicken, and we happily devoured all dishes; they were all savory, juicy, tender, and the meat was perfectly cooked. The batter on the pork and chicken was still tasty when we polished off the leftovers the next day. The only slight demerit was the service was a bit off-putting; the waiters were not welcoming when I arrived and didn't seem to be happy working there. I'll be coming back again, that's for sure and hope the staff were just having a bad day.

Normally don’t write reviews, but I genuinely believe they forgot to season the chicken. We ordered takeout and the staff was nice, but I paid around $70 for one order egg rolls, rice, chow mein, and chicken. The chicken had almost no flavor at all. The texture was fine, but everything tasted bland and under-seasoned, especially for the price. Place was recommended by a good friend, so hopefully I just caught them on an off day.

I came here many years ago with my brother and was a pretty good experience, so I brought my husband here on 4th of July. I was honestly surprised to see how many people were here. Ok so we got seated and I ordered 2 glasses of wine and was brought only 1. As we are waiting for our dinner I saw a little black ant crawling on our table, I forgot to mention that that wine glass was dirty so my husband gave me his glass and he took mine. The food was pretty good, we loved the orange chicken, the walnut prawns were a little weird but ok. No one came to check on us the whole time we were there and when we finished I had to go up to the front counter to ask for the check because when I got his attention with my hand up for the check he didn't know what that meant. When he brought boxes for the left overs, I thought he was going to leave the boxes for us to put the leftovers in them, but he did it which is fine but he was very aggressive and loud when stacking the empty plates that he just left on the table which I thought was weird. Oh I forgot to mention that some little bug was flying around our table and landed in my wine.
