I gave five stars all the way across. Although I’ve got to admit, there isn’t much of an atmosphere in a drive-through coffee place, but where atmosphere lacks, its made up for by the friendly staff. Been going through here for years several times a week. Nice to get to know the servers. I used to go to the main coffee roasters in the shopping center on ignacio Boulevard, but I found out a few years ago that I drive by the one in Novato every morning, and it is much easier. As always, the staff is pleasant to talk with a very friendly. Claudia runs a tight ship, always nice to see young people doing a good job and working hard at anticipating my order and getting it right! (They all represent the business well especially Steven) Keep it up Tammy and Tim, you’ve got a good thing going. … Only thing I miss from what I used to get at the ignacio store, is the pecan bars. Those came To the Novato stop that would be great!

Marin Coffee Roasters is a unique local coffee stand with an interesting history. What looks like an old gas station is actually a former drive-up bank that was later converted into a coffee shop. Today it operates mainly as a drive-through, with staff walking out to take customers' orders. During my visit, I ordered a drip coffee with milk and found it to be strong, smooth, and pleasantly flavorful. They also offer pastries, although I didn't notice a larger food menu. The staff member who helped me was friendly and efficient, making the stop quick and enjoyable. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee in Novato and appreciate places with a little character, this is worth checking out.
