Habit in Novato is a very pleasant place—no rush or crowding, clean, and with friendly staff. You can order online and there's a comfortable waiting area for your food. The food is arguably the best among fast food chains, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

I agree with Scot in an earlier review, 6 days prior. Something has definitely changed. I walked around the entire restaurant to try and find a clean table around 7p but ended up cleaning a table in the back with a napkin. Our meal took a bit longer than normal. The hamburger didn’t have much flavor and fries under cooked. We spent $30 for the meal deal. Around 725p they started to stack the chairs on the middle table. At 735p, over by the drink station and where you pick up your food; the worker started to VIGOROUSLY sweep the carpet and all the dust and dirt was flying (I could see the dirt coming off carpet and landing on the floor). We were seated near this area and that was the cue that we needed to leave NOW. As I exited, I looked to see what time they were closing and it said 830p on the door! I understand that maybe they are watching labor costs but not at the cost of rushing out folks and making an interesting experience. Very odd.

The burger is good for the price, I’m a fries lover so the fries are crispy and gold, really good ones, they copied a little in and out with the drinks and condiments section giving paper cups for ketchup and complimentary peppers and lemon for the iced tea, adding an hibiscus tea option as well. This location feels modern and it’s clean, has self checkout machines as well.

Habit is a great burger place. It's kind of under the radar. The food is high quality. The shakes are real & heavenly. The bathroom was clean. The service was fast.

Is it customsry to close the resrooms at 8:05 when you close @ 8:30? Ive eaten here when all the chairs are up and seating areas are closed @ 8:00 pm, not very appealing to clients to feel herded into one spot to eat. Tonight the burger was cold, cheese didn’t even melt. Seems the employeeswant to leave promptly at 8:30pushing patrons out as they leave. Not kosher.
