Maldonado Jessy Construction

We chose Maldonado Jessy Construction to renovate a significant portion of our house (2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, entire downstairs living area), and are beyond satisfied with the quality of work, as well as the project management. They finished our project within the time and budget quoted, and did such a great job that we added more to our original scope. Jessy and his awesome crew truly care about doing a quality job. They never cut corners and will do anything to make sure you are satisfied. They were always on time, and considerate of our other spaces / daily routines. I honestly cannot recommend them enough. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Anyone who works with them is very lucky.

TL;DR, we highly recommend Maldonado Jessy Construction! Here's why: Jessy and his team helped us remodel our kitchen in earlier this year. We were super impressed with his proactive communication throughout the entire project. Not only did he make himself available to answer our questions, he also met us on site to facilitate decision-making on things like light switch placement, etc. He also provided regular updates with pictures, which we especially appreciated since we had moved out for the remodel. His crew were efficient, took great care to maintain a high quality result, and even watered our plants for us during the unexpected heat wave in March. 5/5 stars, hands down.

We cannot recommend Jessy highly enough. He and his team did an incredible job on our remodel in San Rafael and exceeded expectations at every step. Jessy is an extremely fast communicator and will show up at the drop of a hat whenever something comes up. His attention to detail is outstanding, and the quality of the work is top-notch — all at a very reasonable cost. He works unbelievably hard (including weekends and holidays) and, together with his team, completed two full bathrooms, a full kitchen remodel, a load-bearing wall removal, new floors, painting, and finishes in just 3.5 months. The pace and execution were remarkable. His team was just as impressive — great, respectful, highly skilled, and flexible throughout the entire process. They were a pleasure to have in our home. We were on a tight timeline because we were expecting a baby, and Jessy went above and beyond to make sure everything was finished in time. That level of care meant a lot to us. We would absolutely work with Jessy again and recommend him without hesitation.

We just finished a four-month remodeling project with Maldonado Construction – a new kitchen and 2 and ½ bathrooms. Jessy was recommended to us by Novato Kitchen and Baths who did the designs and worked closely with him. The remodeling project involved electrical, plumbing, installation of tile, stone countertops, cabinetry, and plumbing fixtures. They did a superb job - nothing was sloppy or off kilter and all work was done by his employees, not sub-contractors and Jessy was often on site to oversee. His communication with us was excellent; they worked long hours to finish on time (even on Christmas Day!) – as promised - and they billed incrementally as work was completed. All in all, it was a stress-free remodeling project, and we are very happy with the results. I highly recommend Jessy and his team.

Jessy and his team have helped us with several projects over the past few years. Most notably, an addition including dining room, laundry/pantry and bathroom. Jessy is an excellent communicator, we always knew what was happening throughout the project. The crew is polite and clean up the site daily. I highly recommend Moldonado Jessy Construction for any project you need done. They are easy to work with and you will love the results!
