Flat walk with nice views. Wheel chair accessible. Children's playground within 20 minutes. Bicycles welcome. Park between buildings 6 and 7.

Visiting Hamilton Wetlands was a revelation. What a marvelous use of a former airfield and base. The wetlands were full of birds, the sky was blue, and the scenery beautiful. I will have to investigate to see if I can find a loop hike there, but satisfied myself today with an out and back walk of 6 miles.

This was an amazing experience. Beautiful views along the whole walk. The walk is flat and well kept with crushed gravel and dirt (a bit dusty). Path is very wide with plenty of room to space out. There is a high wall on one side (Naval Hangar side) with the other side being a simple wooden fence with chicken wire and an unobstructed view of the estuary. Parking was easy.
