Wow! Just had my first experience at Oliver and it was incredible. My son's car needed work fast because he was home from college for the weekend, and needed to drive back in said car. On a Thursday night, Mike said that he could check it out Friday morning. We brought the car in and two hours later, he diagnosed the problem (tires and alignment) and suggested where to go for the repair as they don't do tires. I thanked him for his advice, which I took, and went to pay, and was told, "don't worry about it!" No charge! I will definitely be back and recommend Mike and his team!

I wonder why my review got erased. Luckily I found it on my desktop saying “edited 5 years ago.” Here I rewrite editedly by hand: Standard competitive rate; and knowledgeable etc. But more importantly: they had a space for my then Honda Civic in their schedule at a rare time that I didn’t need my car. Since my car’s problem was related to the transmission (stick), I’d say THEY DELIVERED IN THE CLUTCH!😝🚙🏁 … as I add five years later, this is my preparatorily planned tow-to in a God forbid event that my current car were to break down in the Novato area.

These guys absolutely rock. I can’t recommend them enough. I’m new to Novato and had my car break down and just threw a dart and took it to them. They diagnosed and repaired my car that day. I then took it back to them due to my check engine light being on and the not only that was taken care of then but took it to a neighboring shop to get my smog check done (my registration was due).

Always excellent service. I’ve been going to Oliver’s for years, and I have only ever gotten the truth and a real fix for my car troubles. When I was deciding between two cars to buy, I knew I could rely on them to give me a real answer when I called and asked “which car has less maintenance issues?” I got a clear and succinct answer, and I am very pleased to say that they were spot on. My car is reliable and easy to maintain, and whenever something does come up, I know that I can rely on Oliver Automotive to have my back.

Mike, Tammy, and their team have always been so kind and gracious during my many crazy car stories. They work hard to accommodate last minute appointments and try to work within my very difficult time frames. They’re honest and make things as affordable as possible.
