We’ve been with Mrs. G for a couple of months and it’s been great so far. She’s warm, kind, and responsive. Her pricing is reasonable too. My kids are still early in their learning, but have been making steady progress. The pieces Mrs. G assigns are appropriate for each kid’s level, so they’re never frustrated or overwhelmed. And she prioritizes fundamentals like reading music and proper finger technique from the start. I’ve seen her older students perform at the recital and they’re genuinely skilled — real technique, not just a polished recital piece. Gives me a lot of confidence in where this is headed.

Both of my children benefitted greatly from Miss Tonia's piano teaching and overall musical knowledge and theory. This valuable exposure led to an interest in other musical instruments - my daughter also plays the flute and alto saxophone, and my son plays the saxophone and bass guitar. Their early education has guided both to enjoy and appreciate music and all its complexities and my daughter developed a real passion for singing. I also believe Miss Tonia's approach to music/piano teaching has had a positive impact and influence on how my kids are able to successfully absorb and excel in other school subjects, particularly mathematics. Miss Tonia is a kind and patient teacher. She is able to meet each individual student's pace and experience and works equally well with differing personalities and motivations. She makes learning attainable and fun! My children truly enjoyed their years with Miss Tonia and her investment into their lives is invaluable.

Tonia has been instrumental in fueling my daughter's passion for piano! She is so kind and is really able to work with my daughter's strengths, while encouraging her outside her comfort zone. My daughter has made amazing progress under Tonia's tutelage! We highly recommend her!

Tonia is knowledgeable, kind, and endlessly patient. I hadn't played piano in decades. She took me through, step by step, adjusting for what I remembered and coaching me through what I didn't, so that I was quickly able to get back into reading music … and then to progress fairly quickly. So grateful we found Mrs. G! My son was quite intimidated about piano lessons, but she, and the group setting, were so welcoming. She makes class fun and interactive while teaching piano theory as kids learn to play. My son progressed quite nicely and now has the confidence to play in front of people. Very grateful, and he’s looking forward for this year to start!
