I didn't like this course. The surroundings are beautiful but the tall grass and brush are way overgrown and make some holes really frustrating. Hot, dry and dusty in August. WATCH OUT FOR POISON OAK.

Great disc golf course! Not for beginners at all. Hilly and long. Great tee pads and maps. Parking is located at the bike park. Walk down and to the left from the bike park to locate the first hole/course map

...so we finally made it out to Stafford Lake for a round. The view from the back nine is genuinely impressive, I'll give them that. But the course itself is pretty rough, we spent half our time looking for discs in the thick brush. The teepads are uneven and some are just straight up dangerous when they're wet. If you're a beginner, I would NEVER recommend starting here, it's way too punishing. The price was fine but the whole experience just felt more frustrating than fun. It was okay for a change of scenery but I wouldnt drive out of my way for it.

...plus it was way more fun than playing at acedemy or something. the course is really nice with some beautiful views of the lake and hills. a few of the tees are a little uneven from the rain, so watch your step. we got stuck behind a big group but everyone was friendly and let us play through. the only small thing is the signage for the next hole could be a bit clearer. some turns are tricky to find if you arent paying attention, i definitly walked past one. overall a solild spot for a disc golf round, i would come back for suur.

Your current question is: Should I make the extra trip here to disc golf. The answer is unequivocally: Yes. Even if you live in Nairobi you should come to play this epic course. See my pics for course holes. (Feb2021) It is very difficult, but very well laid out with a wide variety of terrain and obstacles to navigate. Don't get discouraged if your first five holes are high numbers. Just play through, and 420 at the Moist Tee(Hole 6) to get your mind back in the game. Enjoy the picturesque beauty.
