I've had a pool for 37 years and normally don't go to Herbs since I live in Novato. After refilling my pool I needed it tested and chemicals replenished. After testing they recommended about $150 in chemicals which I purchased. After I got home I realized I already had one of the chemicals I bought. The next day I came back to the same sales person who said no problem on the return until the manager said "NO RETURN OF ANY CHEMICALS." He didn't care that this small $20 unopened bag that i bought 24 hours ago. He said it's posted all over the store. He directed me to several locations in the store and sure enough nothing in print about returning chemicals, except for in small print on the receipt. (I believe they now added it) I called my favorite pool store Don Johnson's in Novato and they informed me they’d be happy to return unopened chemicals. If you want good customer service I wouldn’t recommend Herbs.
