Several narrow, winding trails forming two loops of easy hikes, taking approximately an hour each. Pretty views of hills, especially at sunset. In spring, the fields are covered with wild flowers. Usually not crowded, at least not in the early evening. Dogs need to be kept on a leash.

Easy approximately 4 mile long, mostly shaded loop with beautiful views. Good trail if you want to get out of the heat. Provides shelter on windy days.

Great selection and wonderful, helpful staff. If they dont have what you, it's likely you will find it in their San Rafael or Greenbrae stores, just a 15 min drive on 101 South.

The restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Novato and offers plenty of Indoor and outdoor seating and a comprehensive menu, with plenty of vegetarian options. Service is friendly, but very slow, so wouldn't recommend if you have planned to be in and out in less than 90 minutes. The food was ok, but while one could choose "mild, moderate or strong" heat, the dishes lacked the more complex flavors one typically associates with Indian spicing. The greatest disappointment was the breads, the chapatis were hard, the paratha were not flaky and all breads were slathered in way too much butter.
