Delish! If you are in the mood for a good sando then this is your spot. The sourdough bread is good and fresh and they have all the toppings and options that you would want in a sandwich. They have their signature sauce which seems like a mix of Horseradish and mayo of some kind. It is a nice touch. I always add peppercini's on mine as well. They also try to get you in and out as fast as they can but since it is popular you might be waiting for a bit. My only gripes are that the soups can be bland and you will be paying a premium price but at the same time this is a fresher option than say, subway. However (at the novato location) Nugget is just down the street and is pretty much the same price for a much more premium sandwich. Just something to think about. In closing, it is good and I do come here for lunch for my family and everyone seems happy with the outcome. If you do stop by, try the Turkey & Pastrami.

Yet another hidden gem of Novato. I always thought the location was odd but it doesn't matter once you step in and sit down. They offer authentic Thai dishes that are delicious and meant to be shared family style. I like their BBQ dishes and their curries. Pad Thai is a must every time we go so I should throw that in their as well. One of the elements that I love about this place is the ambiance too. It's tastefully treated and you'll feel comfortable bringing family, friends or that special someone in your life. If you like Thai food, give it a shot!

What an amazing restaurant and experience. My wife and I went there for our anniversary and wanted something that was a little different than our usual family/kid-friendly style restaurant and heard great things about Chianti Cucina so we gave it a shot. I'm glad we did. Upon entering it has a cozy, old world and dare I say...somewhat romantic atmosphere(?). However, the floors are tile and it stays busy so it might be loud if you go in peak times. The service makes up for it in every metric though. Our server was very attentive, very knowledgeable regarding the food and wine menu and she was fast! I was actually surprised, I don't mind a dining experience that is a little slower paced when I'm on date night. The food is so flippin' good! I had a Ravioli special with short rib and a pomodoro sauce and the flavors were just spectacular! The quality of the dish was probably the finest pasta dish i've had in Novato. The freshness of the tomatoes in the sauce, the fresh herb medley on top with a slight sprinkling of parmesan really balanced out the heavier cheese/short rib ravioli base. The whole thing had a nice blend of flavors. I topped it off with a Napa wine. My wife chose an italian wine, I was not as daring lol. If we had more time and more space I would definitely try some dessert. Next time for sure! I can't wait to go back.

Overall a delicious experience! I’ve been meaning to kick the tires and was in the area so gave it a shot. This location was a couple different businesses over the past few years and was glad to see a new business come in. Upon entering the restaurant, it’s got a counter style set up where you order and find a seat. It looks like they are still figuring things out as there is a beer and wine application notice in the door. There is plenty of seating available (probably too much) as there are seating area inside and a covered exterior spot. The menu is on a flatscreen which is typical these days. The monitor next to it was serving up early 90’s pop and hip-hop music videos which was kinda funny. The food is very good and full of flavor. I ordered a super burrito and it could probably feed 2. The beans, meat, rice, and cheese all melded together for a delicious mix of flavors and textures. The salsa’s were nice as well. There was a red (spicy) and green (medium) which is a good addition to a bite or two of burrito or chips. I hope this place does well and we’ll see what the future holds.

This is a new addition to the Novato area and my family was excited to try it! My wife loves the SF one so I was looking forward to it. I really like the Emeryville style food court and was hoping this would hold a candle to it. When we arrived, it was INSANELY busy. However it's a brand new spot and I figured everyone and their momma would be there (they were). We ordered (and ran up a decent tab) but were told that it would be a 40-50 minute wait. That sucked. A lot of the orders was either Uber Eats or DoorDash. If you are hungry and want to eat soon I would recommend something else. However if you like to do a lot of food delivery, this might be your jam. Just order well in advance. I kinda like eating food hot and fresh so delivery is always a let down. That and delivery people ALWAYS screw up my delivery address where I live. No one reads anymore lol. While there I ordered a fried chicken sandwich but was told they were out. Ok, kind of a bummer but moving on, I ordered a Bacon Burger from The Melt. My son ordered Chicken Strips from Proposition Chicken and My wife got a Sushi Burrito from Sushirrito. We also got a small container of Vietnamese Coffee ice cream. That was probably the best thing and I don't even like sweets. The burger was good. I would have it again. The chicken strips were dry though. The batter was good but I think overcooked. Maybe 1-2 minutes less and it would've been perfect. The burrito wasn't bad either. In closing I'll give it another shot when its not insane and recap.

Taki is one of a very few Sushi/Japanese restaurants in the Novato area. I like going here because it is a little different than Tri but has similar great qualities at the same time. This place has a very nice ambiance with the front area housing a beautiful Koi pond that will keep you and your little ones (or old ones) entertained if you have to wait for a seat. This place can get a little busy during peak hours so just keep that in mind From a seating perspective, the tables that are partitioned off so that you can enjoy your dinner with your company. There is also a nice traditional seating area as well as a sushi bar. On nice afternoons I love sitting outside with my family so they have something for everyone. The real reason this place is great though is the food. They have a nice selection of rolls and other items that will have something for everyone. I particularly like their special rolls and had almost all of them. My children love the Udon so everytime we go we get at least 1 order of that. Whenever you're not feeling 100%, give that a shot. Guarantee you'll feel a lot better. Just get it door dashed or ask a significant other to pick it up haha. One special note that I would like to add is that they have an interesting beer that I never had or seen before. It's called Kawaba Sunrise Ale and it is Delicious!!! I would come back just for that!

Not bad. I would say it's a decent lunch spot but wouldn't recommend dinner here. It's popular with the younger crowd so it can get busy, just a FYI. My family and I came here at the request of my daughter (she loves boba. Actually, my whole family loves boba) and I was open to checking it out. I played it safe so instead of a Poke bowl, I got a Bahn Mi sando and a bunch of sides. My family got Poke bowls. The sandwich was good, it had nice flavor and textures between the french bread, crispy veggies and spread. The sides were not bad but they were all fried so you can't really mess that up. I also ordered the Peach Iced Tea, which looked amazing in their picture with fruit in the tea but came out with no fruit. It wasn't the biggest deal since the tea was still very good but I would imagine that all their teas are different than the pictures. We decided to eat there and luckily they have a few tables. I think their business is catered to "To-Go" service as we had to ask for plates. I'll probably be back for some takeout boba and eats for the wife and kids.

What a great home town jeweler and watch service! I had 5 watches that all needed some love and I took them all in at the same time and they took care of them all in 30 minutes! I was super surprised about that. I highly recommend Gold Rush Jewelers and will come back.

My wife and I attended opening night which was a soft opening. We used to go to Rickey's which was the restaurant before the owner Munther, bought it and took over. I frequent the Owner's other businesses and he consistently delivers a good experience with great food. He's a trained chef and gives back to the community so I like to support that type of business. Upon initial inspection, the restaurant cleaned up a bit and has a better abiance than the previous iteration. When you enter, the kitchen is front and center. Not many restaurants are that brave and I think its a nice touch. You get instantly hungry. During soft opening, the kitchen was closed to prep for th next full day of business but the bar was open and we definitely took that for a test drive! The restaurant and more importantly, it's people were doing and saying all the right things so we came back the following week. IT WAS SLAMMED!!! (Which is great) We grabbed a booth and ordered some drinks and Apps. We orderd the mini surf and turf with oysters. It was awesome! it had all the right flavors and textures. As usual, our bar server Shawn was on it and delivering the goods with expedience. We felt good about the apps so we came back again for the full dinner with our youngest. Our server Christina was on it as well. We went for it with a a Ribeye, a New York, sides of Baked Beans (YUM!), Creamed Spinach (DOUBLE YUM) and Mashed Potatoes. The stakes were both ordered medium rare and were delicious! They were flavorful, soft and had a nice crisped edge to it. I've been back several times to meet friends and is my go to spot to take a break or watch a couple laps of whatever race is on. All in all, you cannot go wrong with either a full meal, drinx and apps with your significant other of just meeting some of the guys for a round or two. Whatever your reason, just go and order something that sounds delicious. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Fast, friendly and family owned neighborhood cleaners. Their store is clean and they always greet me with a smile. Their alterations always come out perfect too. This is the only place I go to in Novato.

I love this place! The owner that I met is super cool too. I gave him lots of props for what they did to the place and taking such a risk for a business of this type in Downtown Novato. Let's take it from the top. When you enter the place, it is CLEAN! It like the owner has a background in interior handiwork. Wall trim, baseboards, column trim is all expertly done. The "Fortress" theme carries on in the interior with stone wall facades in the front and rear of the store. They also have little details like swords and flags hanging throughout the store. A really nice touch. They specialize in role playing games and host events where customers can come in and play together. I don't participate but I really support any type of community engagement. They also have a wide range of board games, cards, figures, paints and even stuffy's! Ite really an impressive place and even though i'm not a role playing type of person I will go out of my way to find a way to support this place whether it be to buy board games or stuffy's as a gift for friends or family or spread the word to other gamers.

I never thought I was a plant person but here I am writing about plants... Long story short, I've killed several plants at both my house and office (a couple are still doing well) so I wanted to get some professional advice on not just selecting a good set of plants for my environment but also how to care for them (beyond a google search). I hit up SummerWinds as I've always wanted to check it out (I go to the O'reilly's quite frequently) and once I went in I wondered why I waited so long to check it out! The place is large! A fully enclosed barn-like(?) indoor area and massive outdoor areas flanking the sides and rear. When I got there I was surprised so it took a minute to take it all in. I asked Andy for some help locating the plants that would be best for my situation. The selection is AWESOME!!! I could of easily blown a decent amount of cash but I used some restraint. After walking around with some guidance I picked out a couple cool new leafy friends for my office. Feeling good about my picks I walked up to check out and Chris(in the front of the house) and I got to talking and she pointed at a couple really cool compositions which started the whole process again. After a couple more minutes I got all my picks and went to check out. My daughter even picked up a cool hanging prism. After everything said and done it came out to $103 which I thought wasn't bad for ~8 plants, some planters and a cute lil prism. My wife, daughter and I were so impressed that we signed up for the rewards program. I guess we'll be back! :-)

Not bad. The food was pretty good. The service was the same. The interior decor was festive, which was cool. It just didn't have the "it" factor. The Jamaica juice had a really odd plasticky taste to it too. The owners/employees were nice though and I appreciate that.

I bought my youngest daughter her most recent bike here and I had a great time lol. The beer bar makes it easier to throw down the coin that bikes cost these days lol. In all seriousness though, the staff is EXCELLENT and the selection of bikes is pretty nice. Their store is not large but they stock more higher end selections so if you do get something from them, it will be a quality product. One of the other things that I like is that it is a local business and their employees seem genuinely happy to be there. That's a big deal for me. Because of all that I went there again today to look at a new bike for my son. I didn't have a couple beers like last time though. I love their little bar "The Alibi", it's hilarious. They stock some pretty decent local selections as well as things like IZZE fruit soda as well as chocolate milk for the youngest of riders. If you are in the market for a quality bike, I would highly recommend stopping by, having a beer and test riding a bike!

This is a great spot to take the family or friends. They have a nice range of homemade salsa's but what really set's this place apart from the rest is their Al Pastor. Most places can't do it right but they nail it! Another indicator is their beans and rice and they do a good job of that too! Edit: 2021. It seems that there has been some minor changes to the dishes. It doesn't quite have the flavor it used to have but it is still a good go-to and the outdoor seating is nice in these times. They also had to shut down the salsa bar. You can get little plastic small servings of their salsa though. The owners are really nice people and support the community through donations and fundraisers. I will still take my family here whenever possible.

I went there for a neighborhood car show and was very impressed at the hospitality and the cordial nature of not just Buddy's shop but his neighbors as well. This plaza houses some very quality oriented businesses. Buddy's Auto Body & Restoration is a family owned operation and their attention to detail and quality craftsmanship is evident when you look at their project cars. Edit 04/26/18: I just got my car back yesterday and I was impressed at what Buddy was able to do with it. I brought it in after my neighbor played bumper cars in my parking lot on St. Patty's Day night and it looked tired, bruised and defeated. I thought it was done. When I picked it up, it looked like it was 5 years younger! He fixed the immediate problem but also polished the whole car bringing it back to life! Another thing that you don't see anymore is that there was a handwritten thank you card waiting for me when I got back into the driver's seat. Very classy touch. Thank you Buddy and your whole staff for the excellent workmanship and care taken with my vehicle! Another Update! 05/06/20 I took some new parts in for some extra protection and was super surprised that he knocked out the job in a day! Not only is buddy good but super efficient too! I'll probably take my track car over as soon as I can for a respray cuz you can't beat his service! 6/30/25: Well had a piece of plywood fly at me at highway speeds. Although SUPER annoying that people don't know how to safely transport their materials I knew just the place to take it for repair. I gave them a call and discussed my options. I'm glad I did and he steered me to the right direction for my situation. I appreciate his honesty and will always be coming back.

This was the easiest and most seamless car rental experience EVER!!! I was dropping off a rental for my wife who had some car troubles with her ride and the manager Naomi was kind, professional, and extremely efficient! One thing that stood out was that I asked for a ride home and their shuttle driver just happened to be away for a while so the manager offered to comp me an Uber lift. That was a very professional and pro-long-term-business move. I appreciate that. I’ve done a lot of traveling for work and dealt with many car rental companies and I wish this level of customer service was standard in the industry. If your ever in need of a rental in Novato, look them up!

What a great place! I just found out about this restaurant recently and I'm disappointed (in myself) that I didn't know about this place earlier. It's a very classy place with great views of charming lil Novato. As with any great place the service is excellent and hit has great menu and drink selections. Kinda funny because my wife and I ordered the same thing and it was excellent! The steak was juicy and full of flavor and it complimented our 12 year old whiskey very nicely.

I've been wanting to check out this spot for a while now because Poke and why not? It's pretty good. Not drop everything I'm doing and go there good but pretty good. The genius of this place is the speed. I went there with a friend and our daughters for a Daddy/Daughter double lunch date. It was a nice and clean place which is always nice. They also offer some asian snacks and noodle bowls to go. We all ordered a round of Poke Bowls and Mango Milk Tea. Both were delicious and I was amazed at the speed it came out. I got a mix of salmon and Spicy Tuna. If you like spicy food I would recommend getting a spicy sauce. Just a FYI. This place is great because it offers ALL the sides. Corn, jalapeno's, onions, etc etc. It's a nice touch. To limit mistakes I might recommend filling out the order form instead of verbally ordering. Something odd though was we got 2 boba drinks and only 1 came with ice. It wasn't a big deal but I thought that was odd. Will I go back? Absolutely. See you there!
