To understand Unity in Marin and the Unity Movement, you must first set aside the most common narrow definition of church. This is not a place of moral (often hypocritical) judgment or condemnation for sinners. Unity understands God as a loving, kind, and omnipresent energy - an impersonal divine source you can connect with at any time, not a human-like figure who punishes. This church is a "spiritual community" rooted in love and mutual support. Unity sees God as the one universal good and the source of all substance, and intelligence of all creation—present in every person. If you can let go of fear and deep rooted belief systems (biases) about yourself and the old Roman Catholic and Christian Churches, you'll not only love this place, you'll find practical wisdom, love and support. Thrive, heal past trauma and attract more love and abundance to your life.
