- Don't let 2k fool you. Specifically, in its MyTEAM mode. Other than their atrocious "pay to develop" ideology behind those micro transactions, tedious Breakout mode grind, lack of consistent guaranteed awards that's based on pure wins, it seems almost clear that they are desperate for your funds to the point where they'll taint its realism. The simple fact how they introduced the WNBA to the mode by saying "all badges are equal" to pacify y'all, just to earn "more revenue" rather then tackling the more critical underlying issues speaks volumes. We all know women can't fairly compete against men in the sport, in fact, some us find it disturbing to see such dominant animations against a female, and it just doesn't feel the same after they get posterized hypothetically. Separating the NBA and WNBA is what they should've done out of true respect, simply incorporating a prompt feature that gives the player the option to disable integration and prevent cross gender matches, instead of undermining the integrity of the game itself because we asked for a more "simulation" type of feel rather than a more arcade like one, or "fantasy" as they would call it, what a shame.
