OHS Parent Organization Vision Oak Hill School students learn to successfully self-regulate and tap into their own creativity and curiosity. Through strong relationships, we sensitively observe and adapt individualized academic and behavioral instruction. Oak Hill students thrive in our reduced ratios of 3:1 (3 students to 1 staff) or 1:1 (1 student with 1 staff). Our team of professionals including administrators, special education teachers, therapists (such as counseling, speech, occupational) as well as our vocational coordinator, job coach, and social worker who focuses on transitional support services, work in concert to create a unique – and constantly updated – 360° view of your child. Located in a peaceful and natural setting in the hills of Marin County, Oak Hill School students learn to successfully self-regulate and tap into their own creativity and curiosity. OHS Parent Organization has the primary goal of bringing our growing community together. This parent group creates opportunities to support each other, share information, appreciate staff and teachers and support fundraising. OHS Parent Organization chair is Jade Schoenhoeft. Mission Oak Hill School empowers neurodivergent students and their families to build trust through relationships and to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. T-E-A-C-H Trust Creating a safe and predictable environment for learning Empower Supporting each other to realize our full potential Accept Openly welcome the individual Connect Building mutually joyful moments together Heal Resetting the school experience Values More than a Classroom Watch the video to learn what makes Oak Hill School unique. A film by Michael Fearon music by Stephen Prutsman. Our school is more than a classroom. You'll hear us talk about our community and the joy of providing specialized programs for our students. We have 8 classrooms supporting various levels of ability, from more impacted to high-school diploma track. Oak Hill has a renowned off-campus vocational program, and to prepare our students we include life skills such as making one's bed, grooming and taking the bus.
