What started as a curiosity about the body and human potential became a lifelong path. Living and working at Esalen — and continuing to teach there — shaped my understanding of touch not simply as technique, but as a practice of presence. Over the years, my exploration expanded through Gestalt-based awareness practices and movement-based expressive arts at the Tamalpa Institute. Gestalt offered an invaluable foundation in direct experience and psychological understanding. And yet, at a certain point, I sensed I had reached a threshold. While the work was profound, there were inner dimensions I felt I could not fully access or articulate. It was then that I began studying the Diamond Approach, founded by A. H. Almaas. The Diamond Approach opened those inner doors for me. It offered a way to explore depth that was both psychologically grounded and oriented toward essential development. I have now been a student of this path for over two decades and am an ordained teacher in this tradition. Today, these streams come together in a simple orientation: supporting individuals in knowing their depth through presence, touch, and inquiry. Whether in private sessions, professional trainings, or retreats, my intention is to create spaces where something essential can be discovered — not as an idea, but as lived experience. I live and practice in Marin County, California.
