The "New" Roast Haus.... I was disappointed to see the old cafeteria style meat counter missing, but my goodness!! The food has actually improved. Sam the owner and operator is a kind and passionate person in his restaurant. The new ambience took very little adjustment time. It saddens me that Marin almost lost a gem of a business due to an over pretentious health inspector. Not failing due to sanitation, but simply a stipulation in food covers, where other cafeteria style restaurant chains seem to be skipped over in their same food counters. So happy we can still enjoy the food and now can even stop in for breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Although the food is not exceptional, it is what you expect and want from this kind of a place. I was killing time here while my father was undergoing a medical procedure nearby, and I took up a table for a couple of hours with my laptop. I forget her name, but she checked on me frequently yet unobtrusively, and it always felt like I was a valued customer and well-taken care of.

Actually it's now called Parkway Cafe, was Hof Brau. Love this place, regardless of name change. Classic, in a very good way, Coffeshop Diner; excellent breakfast special as in yummy and great value. Delicious. Same owner, Locally owned. Chef and Waitress are kind, attentive, and feed me yummy food to start my day. Love sitting at the counter, sipping fresh squeezed OJ, eating pancakes and reading/watching the news and handling my emails.

Comfort food at its finest! This place is right next to my favorite pet food store (Pet Food Express!) The food is delicious, the portions are good and the price is right. The waitress is super sweet. (Lisa is her name) There is nothing missing here. Five stars all the way!
