Costco Novato takes all of the well‑known advantages of the company—low prices on upper-middle class products and generous return policies—and adds two notable strengths of its own: kind, helpful employees and excellent pricing on top California wines. It’s a delightful combination that elevates this location above many others. As ordinary consumers, we are not paid or compensated in any way for this review. We simply appreciate a store that delivers value with genuine service.

Let’s just be honest, everyone loves Costco. You get all the highest quality products at the best price. All the food is really good and the membership is set up to benefit the consumer. There are also a ton of other perks with a membership. Little known Costco shopping pro tips 1. The best deals are in the back of the store, you can shop online, they have a good deal on tires, and in some cases they deliver groceries. You are welcome.

Alejandro was incredibly rude. He was changing garbage bags and I was not even in the way. I had my cart next to a table while waiting for food and he demanded I move my cart until another employee told him my cart was fine. Everyone had their carts next to their tables and he spoke very rudely and made me not feel welcome. Never experienced this at other Costcos.

During our weekend drives through Marin County, we often pass by the Novato Costco and like to stop in to pick up a few essentials for the week. Compared to our local San Francisco location, this one feels more manageable, still busy at times, but generally less crowded and easier to navigate. The store is well-stocked, the aisles are wide and organized, and it’s usually easy to find what we need without too much searching. They carry the usual Costco mix of groceries, household items, and bulk essentials, and I’ve found the produce and packaged goods sections to be consistently fresh and well-maintained. Parking is also a bit less stressful than in the city, which makes quick stops more practical. Like most Costco locations, weekends can get busy, but if you time it right, it’s a smooth in-and-out experience. The associates here are typically friendly and helpful, and checkout lines tend to move efficiently. Overall, it’s a reliable stop with good prices and a more relaxed shopping experience than some of the busier Bay Area warehouses, which is why it has become one of our regular go-to spots.

This costco is not what it used to be. Management has fallen low. All the fruit is going bad. The employees in the food court can't even serve a soft serve. Looks nothing like the pictures. They seeve it very sloppy and by the time u get its melted. And the straberries all over the outside spilled on the cup. This costco needs a regional manager to step up for a long time.
