text: During our weekend drives through Marin County, we often pass by the Novato Costco and like to stop in to pick up a few essentials for the week. Compared to our local San Francisco location, this one feels more manageable, still busy at times, but generally less crowded and easier to navigate. The store is well-stocked, the aisles are wide and organized, and it’s usually easy to find what we need without too much searching. They carry the usual Costco mix of groceries, household items, and bulk essentials, and I’ve found the produce and packaged goods sections to be consistently fresh and well-maintained. Parking is also a bit less stressful than in the city, which makes quick stops more practical. Like most Costco locations, weekends can get busy, but if you time it right, it’s a smooth in-and-out experience. The associates here are typically friendly and helpful, and checkout lines tend to move efficiently. Overall, it’s a reliable stop with good prices and a more relaxed shopping experience than some of the busier Bay Area warehouses, which is why it has become one of our regular go-to spots.
