We got some takeout from this unpretentious and friendly neighborhood Chinese restaurant on a Saturday night a couple hours before close. I was in the area so I placed my order in person instead of calling in. The husband and wife that own the place where hanging out in the back at a table sorting/pruning vegetables and chatting. The lady was perfectly lovely and helped me understand the rice/noodle plate system versus al la carte dishes. They also nailed the order even with the specific no rice request for the Mongolian beef (which by default would have been served on top). We got Mongolian beef, orange chicken on noodles, and Mu Shu Pork. Plus a few glass bottles of coke. It was all ready in 10 or 15 minutes and was really tasty! Well seasoned, well cooked, great textures and hearty portions for the price. The Mu Shu had much bigger pieces of cabbage and pork than most places I've been which led to really hearty and filling pancakes with big tasty chomps. The four pancakes they provided was enough to eat it all with the packets of hoisin. Go here and enjoy their food! It's classic American Chinese and makes me miss the old spot in our home town that closed when the owners retired.

Really solid pepperoni with extra cheese. Maybe I'd give 4.5 stars if I could... Good texture on the crust, lots of fresh tasting full fat cheese with some nice browning. Fatty, salty, peppery pepperoni. Great pizza for the value. Got a cheese bread side order too which was just as described and what we expected, tasty. The ranch was fire.. classic pizza place batch made ranch and a properly full little cup. Their order system and estimates for pickup worked perfectly. Good place!

Came in to pick up an order for a late Sunday breakfast for my wife. The atmosphere was modern and cozy in a seemingly fairly new building. Many people seemed to be coming from the nearby neighborhood with their families and dogs to eat there too. The outside seats had chatting folks and happily panting pups and the inside was bright with lovely decor. We got the French toast with berries and a few of their cinnamon twists and they where both delightful. Good batter, good texture, great syrup and hot with fresh berries. Their pastry chef was on vacation so they only had some of the simpler pastries but I would love to try more. Go here for a casual boutique breakfast at a not too boutique price from a place that clearly cares a lot about what they're serving.

Small donut shop with tasty, inexpensive donuts, pastries and coffee. Cozy, simple seating area. My wife was craving a bavarian cream filled donut. I called 5 minutes before what seemed like closing (submitted edit, they close at 2p) and the lovely young lady working informed me they were about to close but if I was 10 or 15 minutes away she'd keep things open. I arrived on time and got the donuts we wanted including a bonus donut! The Bavarian cream, a sprinkle cake, and a long john was like 7 bucks (plus a free risen glazed)! So cheap, but not sacrificing quality at all. They were as tasty or tastier than every solid little local donut shop that makes their own I've been to. Go here!

Great sandwich. I'm usually one to customize a sandwich order; no tomato, extra mayo, different cheese, that kind of thing. Something about Michaels sandwiches menu/vibe made me leave the roast beef on sourdough sandwich totally default.. with the choice of brown mustard (versus yellow). The bread was chewy and bubbly with a firm crust that gave with a good bite. It was also light on the sour dough tanginess which is a big plus for me as I usually avoid sourdough. The toppings and condiments where fresh and perfectly proportioned making it greater than the sum of its parts. The creole potato salad is notably delicious with some unique flavors and should be ordered too. The macaroni salad was good, but nothing to write home about. The place was casual and no frills, as was the service. Straight to the point and the sandwich and sides ready before I even finished paying by their team. The pickle spear is a lovely touch too. All in all this was super filling and delicious and about 22 bucks (I left a 15% tip cause why not).. that's a Snapple, two sides and the sandwich, totally fair price. The chip and drink selection was extensive. If I lived in the area I would be here every week. Go here.
