Gordon M. · Michael's Sourdough Sandwiches

- Great sandwich. I'm usually one to customize a sandwich order; no tomato, extra mayo, different cheese, that kind of thing. Something about Michaels sandwiches menu/vibe made me leave the roast beef on sourdough sandwich totally default.. with the choice of brown mustard (versus yellow). The bread was chewy and bubbly with a firm crust that gave with a good bite. It was also light on the sour dough tanginess which is a big plus for me as I usually avoid sourdough. The toppings and condiments where fresh and perfectly proportioned making it greater than the sum of its parts. The creole potato salad is notably delicious with some unique flavors and should be ordered too. The macaroni salad was good, but nothing to write home about. The place was casual and no frills, as was the service. Straight to the point and the sandwich and sides ready before I even finished paying by their team. The pickle spear is a lovely touch too. All in all this was super filling and delicious and about 22 bucks (I left a 15% tip cause why not).. that's a Snapple, two sides and the sandwich, totally fair price. The chip and drink selection was extensive. If I lived in the area I would be here every week. Go here.
