- Pioneer Park is such a great spot for families and anyone who enjoys being outdoors. We loved that there are two huge playgrounds with equipment for all ages-perfect if you have kids of different stages. We lucked out and grabbed ice cream from a little vendor while we were there. There are plenty of walking paths, tennis courts, and gazebos that would be great for parties or gatherings. One unique feature is the historic cemetery on the park grounds…very peaceful and well kept. The only downside is that there are very few parking spots, so it can be a bit tricky during busy times. Overall though, this is a wonderful park and we’ll definitely be back!
