    "text": "Rented ski gear here for my family. My rented boots were 6 year old pieces of junk and my son's skis were 18 years old! Based on advertised prices I thought it was cheaper than Sports Basement. When picking up the gear they add on an extra 10% for mandatory insurance and then charge sales tax. Sports Basement charges neither of these fees making Old Town more expensive. I wish I had just gone to Sports Basement. Sports Basement rents gear that is either current model year or max 2 years old with very knowledgeable employees and at the same or cheaper prices! I tried to support local, but I will not make that mistake again and will exclusively rent from Sports Basement.",
