My son had his very first haircut with Ann Marie this week and I was extra nervous that he would have a toddler meltdown and that we would need to reschedule, especially since we were planning using clippers on the back and sides which can definitely be scary to a child who hasn’t experienced them. Ann Marie saw that my son was playing comfortably at their toy table so she brought her tools over to him and did his hair cut while he played with toys and watched shows on the tablet she provided. She had a great game plan of starting off with a bigger guard to get it done fast (in case he tapped out, so we would at least get something done) and then when he tolerated that she moved on to a shorter/cleaner look. She also gave me great tips on hair care for my daughter who is autistic and has very curly hair that is hard to manage with her sensory sensitivities. She took an adorable picture of my son and gave us a certificate and a lock of his hair as a keepsake, all for a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend Snipz Novato for your child’s first hair cut!!",
