- I came in to exchange a dress that was a gift. Initially, I was told to walk around the store with the item to find the correct size, which already felt odd. After finding the right size and returning to the customer service desk, I was repeatedly asked for a receipt even after explaining multiple times that it was a gift. The staff member, Kiara, was rude, dismissive, and made several unnecessary comments that made me feel like I was being treated as a criminal instead of a customer. Her attitude was unprofessional and uncomfortable. What concerned me most is that the exchange was NOT processed through the system at all. Instead of properly scanning or logging the exchange, she simply removed the sensor and handed me the dress. This means the inventory is now inaccurate, especially since the sizes and item codes were different. When I pointed this out, she brushed it off and said that’s “just how we do it,” which is unacceptable. It felt careless, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I should not have been treated this way for trying to exchange a gift.
