Beautiful coffee spot with good bean. My muffin wasn't my favorite. The baristas were friendly and helpful. First visit. I'll return

I really want Trailhead to succeed because it has so much going for it. The location is excellent, the outdoor and mountain bike culture feels authentic, and it has the kind of community-focused concept that deserves support. There’s a steady flow of customers, and the burger I had was genuinely good, which highlights the potential of the place. Unfortunately, the overall experience felt neglected compared to the thoughtful vision behind it. The menu seemed scattered, the atmosphere a bit worn, and cleanliness was a concern. The bathroom needed attention, several tables were dirty, and some utensils and visible work areas behind the counter did not appear clean. The staff weren’t rude, but they also didn’t seem particularly welcoming, giving the impression that customers were more of an interruption than a priority. Trailhead has the right foundation, vibe, and community appeal to be something special. With more attention to maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service, it could easily become one of the area’s standout gathering spots for outdoor enthusiasts.

Coffee was good, the breakfast burritos that were purchased were smaller than anticipated but, they were very good! Did have to wait a bit for food to be done.

I've lived in the Bay for eight years, and this is the best coffeeshop I've found for getting work done. Clean, spacious, warm vibe, great service, good background music at a decent level (at least in the back), tons of seating, plenty of outlets, fast wifi. Great espresso. I'm eating a pepperoni pizza right now, and it's super good. Nice beer selection too. Prices for food are a little high, but typical for well-run places in Marin. You can tell this place is really well managed. It deserves success.

I had the 8 oz. burger with bacon and cheese. It was quite a healthy portion. Regular potato chips on the side came with it. (For the price of the burger, it would have been nice to have the option of French fries.) Beer and wine is offered; no other hard liquor. Pub atmosphere inside. There is outside seating. Chairs outside are very uncomfortable, especially for someone who has had five spine surgeries like me. This place seems to be a popular gathering spot for locals.
