Decent, clean, safe hotel in an excellent location. Run by a great family who cares, and a wonderful, helpful staff. All at a nice price especially when compared to nearby establishments. Comfortable beds, swimming pool, jacuzzi, on-site laundry. Continental style breakfast, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and cool balcony accessible by slider door. Short walk to SMART commuter train that takes you all the way up into Sonoma county and all the way down to Larkspur landing. Easy access to jogging path. Pet friendly. Friendly tip: I've noticed that paying the hotel directly is always the least expensive route compared to online brokerage sites. That's probably why this hotel is often fully booked. Plan ahead.

Clean old rooms. No mold in the bathroom. Bed n mattress firm. Sliding glass door for fresh air with tiny balcony. Pool is clean and decent size. Hot tub worked perfectly at 15 minutes intervals via timer. Tiny continental breakfast nook. Couple great eaters within ~2 miles. Convenient to the highway and there is vehicle noise from it. A live train track is right there. Saw one Amtrak it was quiet unknown if freight trains whistle by.

Mia at the front desk is an absolute angel. I’ve stayed here before and came back 4 years later. Outdoor pool and jacuzzi are fantastic. Washer and dryer work great. Rooms are nice and comfy, often with decks. Great location on the 71 bus line and easy to get to and from San Francisco and other locations. I Recommend!

I just stayed at this hotel. I don’t normally pick two star hotels because they can go either direction. They can be gross and smelly, or they can be perfectly reasonable and just not fancy. If all two star hotels were like this one, I would always choose them to save money. This hotel was perfect! If you are looking for a clean, safe, and lovely budget hotel, I would not hesitate to stay here. Everybody was so friendly and while a more expensive hotel would have freshly painted walls without any imperfections, laminate floors without some separating boards, and furniture without scratches, etc. none of those imperfections were gross or unsafe in anyway. I loved my spacious room with a comfortable bed and lovely views. The parking worked great and I enjoyed the free coffee and muffins/cereal in the lobby on the AM. The room and bedding was clean and fresh. This is my new place to stay and save $ in Marin. Also my kids would have LOVED the pool. Looked great although I didn’t explore and it was cold when I visited.

In the context of a $94 room in Marin- adjust your expectations accordingly- this place is fine. Friendly check-in host, old-school, super basic room but felt clean and good bed. Plenty of parking, decent shower, laminate floor (no carpet), Antenna TV. There are definitely a fair amount of people that live here full time, but with Marin rent prices that's understandable- was quiet enough on a Friday night.
