John was professional, kind and extremely helpful. I felt important and appreciated the extra time he spent explaining things to me. He did a great job and I hope to work with him again. Everyone in the office at Novato was friendly, welcoming and kind. GREAT experience.

Last year it was great. This year i went in to ask about the status - almost 2 weeks after leaving. An office gal took my tel number said she’d call. 4-5 days —-no call. I called - and after 10 minutes on hold said it came in late (april 26 at 11:00 am) and the gal asked if i want to request an extension. Wouldn’t you think they could notify me about this vs My persistence? .

My preparer, Donna Dilena, once again has been excellent, efficient, polite, very knowledgeable about all tax information, patient, and just a pleasure to work with, especially under what must be great pressure. I have every confidence in the world regarding her competency in fulfilling her tasks.

Been going to this office since 2020, for 2024 taxes they missed my phone appointment and then the gentleman was rude saying he is too busy to deal with me, even though I had appointment. But that’s not why I decided to write I review. On 2024, when I came in person to do my taxes Brittany Pickard, my tax advisor, was doing my taxes that day messed up BIG TIME! Missed a document with my another income and now, 1,5 year later IRS is chasing me with the unpaid balance and APR that accumulated over a year, additional I’ll also have to pay state taxes+ APR. I reached out to H&R Block, met with advisor in Greenbrae and few days later she said since I have no “peace of mind protection” I’ll have to pay additional $99 for them to submit applications for amendment return and she can’t even promise H&R Block will deal with APR that accumulated over a year, because their “professional” that obviously wasn’t trained well, wasn’t knowledgeable enough to do taxes, messed up the documents and I have to deal with it on my own, after I paid $200 each year. They don’t want to take responsibility for their mistakes. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
