text: The Novato branch of Umpqua struggles constantly to keep employees and the employees they do have are inadequately trained. For the longest time last year, they actually closed the bank for an hour in the middle of the day during business days. In order to open business accounts with any bank, we are required to provide numerous forms to the bank and this is the first bank we've ever worked with that seems to misplace documents provided and we find we're being asked to provide them again and again. I am busy operating my business, I do not have time to produce the requisite documents over and over again. To be fair to the branch, while I am disappointed as a business customer, I have been happy with the personal banking because, for the most part, the staff is friendly and helpful on personal banking. June and Nick were the best employees we've worked with.
