- I went into T-Mobile to get information on plans. I found the one I liked but needed to talk to my husband about it when he got home that night and I'd let T-Mobile know what we had decided. I was then told that if I filled out all of my information while I was there and purchased 2 SIM cards, for $20 total, it would save a couple of hours if I decided to open an account later but that I was definitely not opening an account until I came back to authorize it. I was also told I would get a $20 refund if I decided not to open an account. By the time I got home I received a welcome to T-Mobile email saying I would receive a bill in approximately 20 days. I had definitely asked if purchasing the SIM cards would open an account and I was definitely told there would be no account until I was ready to open one. I went into the store and I was told that I had an account with service (we hadn’t even bought phones yet) I was shocked and angry that I had been blatantly lied to. I asked for my $20 back and to return the unused SIM cards and they said they don't do that even though they said I could have a full refund. I was probably naive when I filled out the information but when you are with a reputable company you trust what their representatives are saying. I am not saying T-Mobile is a bad company, I'm saying this store is horrible. Go to any other T-Mobile store but this one.
