CTW Kitchen & Bath

We live in Napa, but CTW is worth the drive over! The showroom is a delight to browse and the staff takes the "overwhelming decision making" off the table. We are so fortunate to have worked with Caity on our tile project - her humor, sense of style/design, ability to manage several projects/people at once and do so flawlessly and her much appreciated communication (every email received a prompt and thorough response). Caity knows her stuff and was an absolute delight to see her and Hamilton each time we visited CTW! Thanks, you'll be our go-to for future projects. Highly recommend.

CTW has the stuff the big box stores don't. Don't bother with the cement board. Use the foam stuff instead. They have it. They tell you how to do it. They are good like that. Oh, and their showroom is pretty nice too.

I was very disappointed with my customer service experience. I first emailed for an appointment as advised on the website, but never received a response. I then went to the store, waited as I had no appointment, but was finally able to speak with a salesperson. The bathroom tile choices, prices and warehouse pickup were great. However when we got to installing the tile I was advised that I did not have any edge pieces. I was never told by the Salesperson that I should purchase edge (bullnose) pieces. I called the Salesperson, Sophie, first thing in the am and did not receive a return call. I emailed her and heard nothing. I then called again and was able to speak with her. She advised me of a couple of ideas and said she would check on the finishes and prices and call me right back - I heard nothing for five days and at that point I had already gone elsewhere.

On my first visit to CTW, the Plumbing Design Manager quoted me a price that was 25% off the Ferguson price for a Robern medicine cabinet. I was holding the Ferguson printout at the time and was surprised by the discount, but she confirmed it. On my second visit I had the same Ferguson printout with me and a second staff member reviewed it, confirmed the pricing, and handwrote the discounted price directly on the sheet for me. When I went to place the order I was told the quoted price was a mistake. After many emails back and forth asking how they could meet me partway and make the situation right, their final offer was 5% off which I thought was pretty lame considering what had happened. They presented their standard 25% off retail pricing as big deal, but that same pricing is available at Ferguson and other places who also don't charge for shipping and have shorter lead times. It's almost like they don't know the internet exists. I won't be buying through them, which is disappointing as I prefer buying from local businesses and otherwise liked everyone a lot and especially enjoyed meeting the pups that hang out in the showroom. Their plumbing warehouse in the back is great.

Nice showroom. Warehouse stocked with all one needs to set tile. Priced well. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Definitely my go to
