No pool (Google needs to correct), no grab bars anywhere in unit, very low-average continental breakfast with no fruit or meats, or juice, yogurt. coffee machine is good. Staff person not particularly friendly (older Asian man), $40 upcharge for ADA, annoying AC/Heater & fridge noises at night. Tp roll half gone when entering, so needed extra roll. Decent size mini fridge, full size ironing board, strong single shower head with lime, 101 not ADA, high bed. Breakfast room not ADA.

This is a rundown, cockroach infested pile of garbage. They are SCAMMERS! Lied and said he didn’t charge our card and said there was no charges! I already posted the proof! Our bank did an investigation and found the at fault! The older man in the evening there will lie to your face, and beware!! They don’t have updated card reading systems, they have no chip reader, they take your card and input in their computer by hand! Many people being double charged as well. Go to Google and read the reviews for yourself! Not the FAKE booking . Com ones they manipulated!

We visited here last week on a last minute trip up north. The hotel is very plain, two queen beds, a desk, TV, dorm fridge, and no hassle internet. Bathroom was a sink, toilet and shower. We had adequate towels, and the rooms are clean. They included one soap bar, one lotion, in a very small lotion tube, a small tissue box, and one roll of toilet paper for disposable goods. Location is at the south end of town, with good highway access, and a fairly short drive to everything Novato has to offer. The provided breakfast, was barely basic. Coffee, and some pre-packaged bagels, waffle, and even a danish if you went early enough. They did not refill the bins when we were there, so by 9am ish, most of the food was already gone. Also note this is the cheapest, genetically engineered food they can buy, so I personally wouldn't even touch it, regardless. Desk help was a friendly indian fellow, personable. Not chatty, and not a helpful tour guide either. They were easy going, and didn't bother declaring hotel rules, or even charge a deposit, which was nice. So even though the place is about as barren as a hotel can be, i would still go back. Price was competitive, and the rooms were clean and bug free. Location was okay, not near any of the best parts of town, but they weren't far away either. A good low price leader, i'd say. Internet was actually good. It was about 30M, so not super fast, but it didn't have any of the latest annoyances the large hotel chains force on you, either. It too was reliable and utilitarian, no drop outs during our entire visit. So good overall, recommended budget hotel.

Horrible experience. Worst hotel customer care of my life. Book two rooms and let them know late arrival. Arrived w whole family just after 12 am. 12:06 am. No one there at all there. Completely closed. I called the number and the most rude man said “too late” and hung up. Would not pick up phone again. We called and called and called. So we had to book at another hotel. Today in the am I called to see about a refund and same rude man again yelled two or three words and hung up again. Would not pick up phone. Will have to challenge my cc. But man what a pain. Again in reservation I let them know arrival time. It is a hotel. No policy, no arraignments, no words, no instructions, no call to check up on us as we were driving 5 hours to get there. Just pure robbery. Luckily right around corner was a clean and well staffed Courtyard Marriot. Essentially the same price. No even a close call. The Mariwood looked so dingy and sad. Total scam.

I stayed in room 103. The room in general was nice and quiet but there were some issues. First, the bed was so hard it felt like I was sleeping on a concrete slab. The pillows were so lumpy it felt like sleeping on a sack of rocks. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much in the 8 nights I was there. The shower is super slippery and there are no grab bars. The shower head is ancient and doesn't work well. I read a review from Oct. 2023 that also complained about the bed and pillows in room 103. Management said they would fix those issues...they didn't. Other than that, the rates are good and my room was clean and quiet.
