I appreciate your passion and commitment combined with the amount of work put in to date. The decision to withdraw and stop the project has as much to do with other competing priorities we have in managing our overall business in a changing marketplace. This combined with a couple of resignations within our sales and marketing team prevents me from pursuing this in 2020. Hopefully 2021 is a more stable marketplace. We don’t have the resources to support this effort further. Consider it a failure on our part not yours.

I will provide ads and targeting which will result in a lead cost which will be extremely low. From there, you need only send emails, any number of them, thereafter I will happily provide you with a method to expedite the production of this.
Conflict is not free of casualties. I was not built for team play, but, that doesn’t inhibit you from now executing, as you are very close... if anything, with my guidance over what is possible, and where things can go, you are better off.
It would dishonor me if a project I was part of inception of did not positively materialize and degrade my reputation, in my personal view, which is what I hold in regard.
May I respectfully suggest you consider that your position in this revised manner may be advantageous.

We sincerely appreciate your efforts in trying. In the interest of fairness you jumped into this project without a contract or agreement in place. Since we are now terminating this project we would like to insure that you are not out of pocket for any expenses (apps, sign ups, etc.) or developer work you commissioned on our behalf. Please provide an invoice for these expenses and identify whom we should pay if it is a 3rd party or yourself (or consulting entity). To that we will add an additional small consulting fee to partially compensate you for your time invested. I told you from the start we would be fair and that is still our intent regardless of this outcome.

I am not sure where the lack of symmetry exists between our discussions and how things are executed. I have recently gone to rather exhaustive and extreme efforts to try and procure what would be a product which I imagined would be a way for your side to move forward, without a possibility of any of my contributions hindering progress.
I do not think, considering your highly regarded brand relationships, and, naturally as an extension your internal processes as they are executed to that end, are compatible with my ability to support the progress of your work in a productive way.
Your work requires a sensitivity which while I understand, and, observe regularly, correlates with in my view an outcome which does not result in monetary success. This impasse of my production input, and its rebuttal over the objectively more important brand affinity, is a productive relationship for your progress.
While I remain at your disposal, in full, for any input of mine you may ever like, or work product you may ever ask, I can’t say at this point, with this extreme lack of progress of my components in your machine rolling out for this MO, I am a compliment to your outcome.
