A · Your own number
The number you already advertise becomes an iMessage identity.
Nothing changes on your phone. Your customers keep the thread they already have with you, your caller ID matches your listing and your invoices, and the assistant replies from the same number you have used for years.

The same business number, registered with Apple for iMessage. Texts from it then arrive on iPhones as iMessages. You keep your number; you are not given a new one.
The four steps
From your number to blue bubbles.
- 01
Carrier check
We test whether your line can pass Apple's verification. Most mobile carriers can. Hosted VoIP and some ported lines cannot, and we tell you before you pay anything.

Registration
Your number is registered as an iMessage identity on hardware we operate for you. Apple sends a one-time code to your line; you read it to us on the call. Your phone keeps working exactly as before.

Questions
Can any number be used?
Most numbers on a mobile carrier can. Many hosted VoIP lines and some ported numbers cannot complete Apple's verification. We check on the first call and tell you before you commit. Where it cannot be done, a dedicated line works the same way for everything except the old thread history.
Is this sanctioned by Apple?
iMessage is Apple's product and we use Apple's standard device verification to register the line. Apple can deregister an identity; when that happens we re-verify with you, and the dedicated line is the fallback so your customers are never unanswered. We are not affiliated with Apple.
What happens to my phone?
Nothing. Your phone keeps ringing, texting and receiving exactly as before. The registration adds an iMessage identity for the number on hardware we operate; it does not move your number anywhere.
What about Android customers?
They get the same thread over RCS where their carrier supports it, otherwise SMS. The assistant replies the same way; the Ledger entry shows which one was used.
More about the iMessage line
An iMessage line on the phone number your business already uses, answered by an AI assistant.
Customers text your existing business number and get iMessage replies (blue bubbles on iPhones) from an AI assistant that follows the permissions you set.
A new number we provision, live today.
For a second line, for a location, or when your own number cannot pass verification.
